Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of In a Meeting, available at inameeting.app (the “Service”). By connecting your Slack or Zoom account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

The Service automatically updates your Slack status when you join a Zoom meeting and clears it when the meeting ends. That is its only function. It relies on webhook events from Zoom and a Slack OAuth token you grant during setup.

2. Your account and authorizations

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Free service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give reasonable notice and will not charge you without your explicit consent.

5. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Third-party services

The Service depends on Slack and Zoom, which we do not control. Their availability, APIs, and terms may change at any time, and such changes may affect or interrupt the Service. Your use of Slack and Zoom remains governed by their own terms of service.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. Where practical, we will give notice of discontinuation on inameeting.app.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that status updates will always be timely, accurate, or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed €50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking access in Slack and Zoom. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your stored data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
